I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, serving adult individuals in North Carolina. I have a deep desire and intention to offer a supportive space for people to access their innate wisdom and explore a compassionate approach when confronted with barriers to healing. I often work with clients who want to renegotiate their relationship with their body from disconnected and combative to integrated and accepting.
I consider my role in the therapeutic relationship as one who holds space with care and respect so that each client can explore their goals with curiosity and empowerment.
I specialize in Eating Disorders and Trauma and treat individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I work through an anti-oppressive framework and have significant experience working with the LGBTQQIA+ community as well as neurodiverse individuals. I curate my approach for each client, and draw from modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, DBT, ACT, CFT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. If something you’ve read here feels like it might be helpful for you, I encourage you to reach out.
